A thousand thanks for the perfect advice, harmonious configuration and the great offer for this beautiful barrel sauna made of wonderful cedar wood from GIF HOME. I was able to clarify all questions in advance. Thank you for your patience; we were initially unsure. The delivery and assembly on site by GIF NATUR were organised entirely according to our wishes and went smoothly. The fitters worked very concentrated and cleanly. (I had to persuade them to take a coffee break :o)) The feeling of sweating and relaxing in your own sauna is just incredibly happy-making. The wood smells so pleasant. This model looks so beautiful and is made to a very high standard. For sceptics, this may sound exaggerated - unfortunately, we can't find a single negative detail, no matter how small. For us, this sauna is simply perfect!

    Our deliveries are currently only made in Germany. Nevertheless, it is possible to deliver your dream sauna within the EU.

    Is self-collection possible?

    Of course, you can pick up your sauna yourself. All you need is the right vehicle. You have to ask for the
    dimensions of the sauna. Depending on the size, you will need either a trailer, a van or a truck. With a trailer
    the total weight must be taken into account. It is important that you securely fix the sauna with tension straps.

    How high are the assembly costs?

    The installation costs can vary. To find out the exact costs, simply ask us.

    Do I get assembly instructions?

    The assembly instructions are included in the scope of delivery.

    On which surface can I place the sauna?

    For the subsoil in the outdoor area for barrel sauna construction, we recommend creating a gravel site with a base layer:

    Material:
    Sub-base ballast with grain size 8-32 mm or 8-45 mm
    Cover gravel with grain size 0-32 mm or 0-45 mm

    Roller:
    Vibrator or pile driver/rammer
    Extractor bar or tube
    Shovel/spade
    Possibly water-permeable protective fleece

    1. excavate the building pit
    Dig a pit under the planned building site of approx.
    20-30 cm out. Compact the pit bottom with the roller.

    2. fill in sub-base gravel
    Fill the sub-base gravel to about half the pit height and compact it with a vibrator, hand pile driver or tamper.

    3. put on protective fleece
    If you want to limit weed growth or ant infestation, place a breathable special protective fleece on the compacted sub-base ballast.

    4. fill the top layer
    Fill in your cover gravel and spread it evenly. Depending on your personal taste, pull off the gravel surface like a chippings surface.

    Are there any regulations that I have to follow when setting up my sauna?

    Our deliveries are currently only made in Germany. Nevertheless, it is possible to deliver your dream sauna within the EU.

    Can I use my sauna immediately after installation?

    The saunas with wood stove can be used promptly. You only need to burn in the wood stove before putting it into operation.
    After the process, the oven must cool down completely (about three hours). The baking is necessary because the oven's lacquer finish is
    is not yet completely hardened and only hardens during heating.
    Saunas with an electric heater must first be connected by a specialist to ensure your safety.

    What do I have to pay attention to with the stove?

    To get your sauna up to operating temperature, you need a heater. This can be electric or fired with sauna wood. A chimney and a flue are required to operate a wood-burning stove. The installation of the sauna heater must be approved by the chimney sweep.
    The advantage of a wood stove is that it creates a special atmosphere in the sauna. With wood, the sauna heats up faster. Wood stoves usually have a higher capacity than electric stoves, which means that the temperature can be kept at a level for a longer time.
    Those who prefer to install an electrically operated sauna heater as a high quality standard for the technical equipment of the sauna should also think about safety. Larger saunas require at least 6 kW for heating and thus a 400-volt power connection. Attention, amateur craftsmen: This may only be installed by a professional.

    Which stoves are approved in Germany?

    Before installing your stove, you must contact the responsible chimney sweep. The chimney sweep will inform you of all the
    important things in relation to stoves.
